Bathrooms, shower rooms and wetrooms.
GET IN TOUCHFrom bathroom upgrades, to en-suites and cloakrooms
Bathrooms are unforgiving of shortcuts, poor waterproofing or a rushed first fix shows up fast, and costs far more to put right later than to get right the first time. I handle every bathroom project personally, from upgrades to en-suites and cloakrooms, so nothing gets missed along the way.
Our process
Every bathroom starts with a consultation, I come to you, take a look at the space, and talk through what’s not working and what you want instead. From there, you get a design and a fixed quote, agreed before anything starts, so there are no surprises later. Once we’re underway, the strip-out comes first: old fittings, tiles, and fixtures come out, and I check what’s underneath, pipework, subfloor, any damp.
Next is first fix, where plumbing and electrics get moved or updated to suit the new layout. Then comes tiling and waterproofing, the stage that decides how the finish holds up over time, tanking first, then tiling. After that it’s the fit-out, with the bath, shower, vanity, toilet, and fixtures all going in and getting tested. I finish with a snag and handover, walking the finished room with you before I call it done.
I visit your home and provide a quote
When you're happy with the quote, I send you a design
Work begins and we strip out of old fixtures and fittings
The first fix starts, plumbing and electrics
Tiling and waterproofing is set
The fit out happens, bath, shower, vanity, toilet and fixtures
The snag and handover = happy client!
Frequently asked questions
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Most bathrooms take two to three weeks from strip-out to finish, depending on size and how much is changing. I’ll give you a realistic timeline once I’ve seen the space.
Do I need to move out while the work’s being done?
No, you can usually stay in the house. You’ll just be without that bathroom for the duration, which is worth planning around if it’s your only one.
Can you work with my existing layout, or does everything need to move?
Both are possible. Keeping the layout keeps costs down since plumbing stays put. Moving things, like relocating a shower or basin, is doable, it just adds time and cost for the pipework.
What’s included in the quote?
Labour, materials, waterproofing, and fit-out are all covered in the price I give you. If something unexpected turns up once we open the walls, old pipework, damp, that sort of thing, I’ll talk you through it before doing anything extra.
Do you supply the tiles, bath, and fittings, or do I choose them?
Either way works. Some people like to pick everything themselves; others want me to source it. I can guide you either way, I know what holds up and what doesn’t.
What happens if you find a problem once the old bathroom is stripped out?
I’ll stop, show you what I’ve found, and talk through the options and cost before continuing. No decisions get made without you.
